We were looking to have a new kitchen in the house we have lived in for several years. Our Son in Law recommended us to Heaven & Stubbs.
We had a long design process with Howard Stubbs as we hadn’t done anything on the house for years, so we wanted to make sure that what we were having we would be happy with for a long time.
The whole process went very smoothly and the end result is just what we wanted.

In praise of Heaven & Stubbs Bespoke Furniture! - Ingleton Kitchen 2005
Universal Joinery came to us through recommendation from a friend. We began planning our kitchen in a very haphazard way, adding onto the design and scope of the project as we went along. Howard Stubbs patiently put up with our last minute dreams and inspired amendments until we had very clear plans, drawings and pricing in place. The project was for a large scale kitchen (one of the largest they had done) in a completely new location in the house.
Despite reservations about having a company doing major work in the house whilst we were on holiday, we were extremely pleased that all the messy and noisy jobs (knocking down walls, ripping up floors, plumbing, electrics, false ceilings) had been completed in our absence, leaving us to watch the kitchen units themselves go in (by far the most exciting phase!).
All went to plan, on time and on budget, with Stuart Heaven and his team overseeing every aspect of the installation. They were able to accommodate last minute changes to the design and were very flexible about how they worked around our family life (much of the work was completed with a toddler underfoot).
The resulting bespoke kitchen is very much how we had hoped and has been beautifully finished with touches that make it stand out from a mass produced model. Furthermore we have invited them back to do the cabinetry for our study.
